Tom has over 20 years of fund management, portfolio management, and transactional experience in commercial real estate in North America, Europe and Middle East.
Most recently, Tom led the investment, asset and development management groups at a large Canadian asset management firm, overseeing a $4.5 billion (Cad) portfolio of office, industrial, retail, and mixed-use assets and over 4 million square feet of development and repositioning capital projects for large Canadian institutional investors.
Prior to this, Tom led Corporate Development and Strategy at Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, where he focused on hotel and residential investment and asset management, mergers & acquisitions of branded operating platforms and investor/owner relations.
Tom began his career as a lawyer and investment banker in Toronto and London, UK, and holds a JD/MBA from the University of Toronto and a BA in Economics from McGill University.
