Northam Realty wins big at the BOMA Canada Awards in St. John's, NFLD

On September 27, 2011 at BOMA Canada’s National Conference in St. John's, NFLD – two Northam properties won the National Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) Awards in their respective categories.  2180 Yonge Street (Canada Square) won in the 250,000 sf – 499,999 sf category and 483 Bay Street won in the 500,000 sf – 1,000,000 sf category.

The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) Award is the most prestigious and comprehensive program of its kind in the commercial real estate industry, recognizing excellence in property management, operations, resource conservation, environmental awareness, leasing and building design, customer service and innovation.

The competition consists of three levels of judging. A building must first win at the local level to be eligible to enter the BOMA Canada national awards. Winners of these awards will be invited by BOMA Canada to compete nationally.

2180 Yonge St. and 483 Bay St. are now eligible to compete in the BOMA International Awards, to be presented in June 2012 during the North American Congress and Office Building show in Seattle, Washington.
